Panel Discussion: Navigating the NIH Funding Landscape

I was invited to participate in a panel discussion at the 2026 Life Sciences Symposium hosted by HGSAC at Penn State. Led by the Deputy Director of the Division of Genome Sciences at the NIH, the session brought together NIH and faculty perspectives on grant writing, funding mechanisms, and the path to research independence. I shared insights from my experiences pursuing early-career research funding and developing independent research directions.
