I am leading an international research collaboration that investigates the microbial communities associated with snake venom and their potential biomedical implications. This project brings together researchers across Arizona, India, and Sri Lanka, bridging microbiome science, natural product chemistry, and medical microbiology to uncover how venom-associated microbes influence infection risk and drive therapeutic discovery.
